Effective July 1, 2015, the Michigan Department of Education allows up to two food-based fundraisers per week that need not meet the USDA Smart Snacks in Schools standards (State of Michigan Public Act 42). Now schools can sell fresh and delicious New York Bagels, known and praised throughout the Detroit Metropolitan area, and raise money for favorite school activities, projects and programs.
